Umberto Asnago
The Arch. Umberto Asnago updates his collaboration with Frigerio by designing a wide range of new products. The seating family is extended with the armchair Arianna, with structure in solid wood and body covered either in leather or fabric, which enhances the tailoring manufacturing of Frigerio in the details of the refined stitching tone-on-tone in the leather version. In the armchair Arianna the armrests open up like wings and the body is gently laid on the structures as if it is floating, thanks to a partially hidden fixing. To the sight the modern armchair matches lightness to the solidity of solid wood and the Frigerio capability to work solid wood in a tailoring way.

Visually, the ARIANNA armchair combines lightness with the robustness of solid wood. The armrests open like wings and the body rests delicately on the structure, as if it were floating. Frigerio's tailoring workmanship is revealed in the details of the refined tone-on-tone stitching.

A thin dark precious line, rich and mysterious for a refined word yet overwhelming, by evoking strong emotions. A tonality needed to grant deepness and contrast.
