Ferruccio Laviani
Ferruccio Laviani consolidates his collaboration with Frigerio by enlarging the View modern modular sofa collection with new modular elements and brand-new accessories for the living area. A perfect synthesis of the designer's creative flair and the company's decades of know-how in the upholstered furniture sector, View is modular sofa made of different elements that can be combined with ease: the sofa version with platform base, in wood and either glossy lacquered or upholstered on floor, they dialogue with each other and with a large number of elements, some with a classic taste, others with a more original design. For the wooden platform, two new glossy lacquered colours are added to the collection by adding to personalized accessories such as padded volumes, integrated bookcase elements, side and front small tables.
Born in Cremona in 1960, Ferruccio Laviani graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the Milan Polytechnic where he attended the courses of Achille Castiglioni and Marco Zanuso...
New chapters are added to the Frigerio story. The 2023 collection tells a philosophy of slow living, which step by step goes forward by following the rhythm of nature to enjoy moments of pure relaxation and conviviality, in a light and dreamy atmosphere. Each piece of furniture reflects, and re-asserts Frigerio's identity linked to the highest quality manufacturing art to create a unique product with contemporary appeal. The new upholstered systems, the seating elements and tables are characterized by the purity of shapes and volumes, designed by bold lines. These are counterpointed by the careful research of materials and a wide textile collection. Frigerio represents the Made in Italy design elegance with a strong international vocation, a fil-rouge that unites the creations signed by established collaborations with designers such as Gabriele and Oscar Buratti, Ferruccio Laviani, Federica Biasi and Umberto Asnago.
